FIA Group N Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5 by Darryl Staniforth

Built by Darryl Staniforth in 2000 for the Safety Devices Tarmac Championship, which it won Group N in 2001 (3rd Overall) with Bob Cowe & John Baird. A full FIA spec Group N car, with 3 outright event wins at Oakington, Milltown and Kingdom Stages - plus fastest overall times in the forest, once converted by MMS.

Stage times inside the top 10 on the BTRDA, on our first drive with the car and no previous testing.

S849 CFS won Group N in 2001 (3rd Overall) with Bob Cowe & John Baird

The car was developed for reliability with 270bhp from its 32mm restrictor & GEMS engine management.

The car is now owned by Nigel Killerby, owner of AVO suspension in Northampton, registered K4 AVO.
